Exhibition at the Kamen Christmas Market at Heeren Castle.
Insights into the History and Mysticism of Freemasonry – 12/17-22 and 12/18-2022.
There was little time
that remained for us for the preparations of the exhibition. Just two weeks before the Christmas market at Heeren Castle was to open its doors, we were given the opportunity to present our Masonic Lodge. Although we are still a small lodge, it was clear we could do it. So the planning was quick and the project was put into action even quicker.
9 brothers and 5 sisters
were actively involved in this action. I.e. prepare the lodge room for the exhibition and manage three booths (barbecue, apple punch and mulled wine booth) in the outdoor area. On the side, some brothers were still busy as “gap fillers” and also helped out in other places of the Christmas market.
The theme of the exhibition, mysticism and history,
was presented in detail by some text panels. The individual tables, which were arranged around the central “temple”, were arranged according to themes. Here the visitor was guided through the world of Freemasonry from the beginnings of Freemasonry to current circumstances and individual symbolic objects.
Two brothers were on hand to answer direct questions.
The conclusion to our exhibition,
is very positive. Many visitors took time to look at the individual exhibits and used the opportunity to obtain first-hand information. We will organize an exhibition again when the opportunity arises and we will co-organize the next Christmas market again.
Thank you for visiting our exhibition.

Are you interested in us?
We will be glad if you are interested in the Union of Freemasons as well as membership in our Masonic Lodge. Joining the Masonic fraternity should be well considered in any case.
Membership in this federation is not comparable to any other membership. We therefore recommend that you acquaint yourself with the Lodge and its members and, for your part, thoroughly consider whether membership is an option.
Usually, a regular visit to the events of the Lodge over a period of about one year serves to get to know each other.
Each application for membership will be considered on a case-by-case basis and submitted for a vote within the Fraternity. This is common practice in all Masonic Lodges worldwide.
The best way to get a first impression is to attend one of our numerous guest evenings.
Simply contact us in advance by e-mail or by using the contact form, and our secretary will receive a message with initial information and your contact details.
